Rhapsody is one of the representative work of Karen Ponelli. The wise and mature blur and jumping white stems really make the mood of the painting, and highlight the title – Rhapsody. I could feel myself small like a bee, snapshot the floral dancing moment, and it keeps dancing. Karen is excellent especially in the floral, atmosphere and landscape impressionism.

Although I don’t have chance to face-to-face see this painting. I could still feel it full of variety – everytimes you would naturally start looking from different parts, the red poppy, the far white, the deep green, the white jumping stem … and all come up with the dancing moment and feeling of Rhapsody.
