(English version is at the bottom)
The Urban Nocturne series (45 paintings) by Kendra Zvonik expresses the feeling of the urban. The artist is so smart to use the night light and city scape to draw the rythm.
Where I live is a over-populated city, I don’t really love the life here because of the problems of all cities – pollution, over-crowd, noise … Kendra did show me metropolitan charm, dynamic and mystery. I could enjoy the beauty of the urban life at home. That is a enchanting experience, so close but distant.
I could feel the Jackson Pollock and Nicholas de Stael spirits on the paintings. Kendra draws the cityscape top view with fluorescent light. This new combination (horizontal cityscape and vertical fluorescent light composition) did introduce me a new strange island : the Urban Nocturne.

I group and hang them all on a wall. No matter how I arrange them, it could not come up to the best order. Yes, actually it is alive. You did fly from one painting to another, you would never know where to start, and where to stop.
(Declaration of interests : I owned the artworks by the artist)

I left another comment, but it never showed up.
Anyway, thank you for this honor. I am so full of gratitude at your level of appreciation and understanding of my work. Thank you for your support.
Oh really?? Feel free to post it again, thanks.
